About the Quiz:
Recognizing the universal appeal of Yoga, owing to its demonstrated benefits towards immunity building and stress relief, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) proclaimed 21st June as the International Day of Yoga (IDY) on 11th December 2014. Since 2015, this day has been observed all over the world in ever growing numbers, with the objective of reminding the people across the globe about the benefits of Yoga, and to build enduring public interest in Yoga by highlighting its importance and contributions to public health.
The preparations for the 7th International Day of Yoga (IDY 2021) have already begun and the Ministry of AYUSH (MoA) is looking forward to an active participation from the people.
With this backdrop, MoA has launched a quiz competition to commemorate the occasion of the 7th IDY, and test citizen’s awareness about Yoga, past IDY observances, and various initiatives being conducted this year by the Ministry.
On successful completion each participant will be awarded with an e-certificate marking their participation and completion.
Terms and Conditions:
- This is a timed quiz with 10 questions to be answered in 450 seconds.
- These questions will be randomly picked from the question bank.
- Winners will be adjudged on the basis of maximum number of correct answers.
- In case of multiple participants having given same number of correct answers, the participants who take the least time to complete the quiz will be adjudged the winner.
- You can skip a tough question and come back to it later.
Certificate 3: Quiz on One Nation One Ration Card Plan
As part of the “Prime Minister’s Technology Driven System Reforms under the Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, the One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) plan for nation-wide portability of the ration cards under National Food Security Act (NFSA) aims to empower all NFSA beneficiaries, particularly migrant beneficiaries, to become self-reliant (AatmaNirbhar) for their food-security anywhere in the country by allowing them to seamlessly access their PDS/NFSA foodgrains from any Fair Price Shop (FPS) of their choice anywhere in the country through their same/existing ration card.
In order to further promote the ‘One Nation One Ration Card’ (ONORC) plan amongst migrant NFSA card holders, DoFPD and State Governments are engaged in giving widespread publicity to ONORC through mass awareness campaigns. It is expected that this quiz competition becomes a medium for engaging citizens of the country who would further spreads the awareness about ONORC amongst needy migrant labours.
Prizes:
- First Prize: (1 Contestant) INR 20,000 + e-certificate.
- Second Prize: (3 Contestants) INR 10,000 + e-certificate each
- Third Prize: (5 Contestants) INR 5,000 + e-certificate each
- Consolation prize: (5 contestants): Only e-Certificate
The quiz shall close at 17:00 hrs (IST) on 31st May 2021.
The selection of the performers will be based on the –
- Correct answers received for the questions.
- The fastest completion of the quiz, furnishing the correct answers.
- All participants will be given digital Certificate of Participation.
