Responsibilities of the Intern:
- Create, write, and build tools that will increase the scalability, availability, and reliability of important systems and services.
- Automate goods deployments, management, analytics, and optimization across different cloud and data centre locations and platforms.
- To enable automated testing of code that is currently being used by consumers, keep the engineering environment up to date.
- By approach system administration with a software engineering mindset, you may bridge the divide between development and operations.
- Working cross-functionally to be proactive in identifying potential changes in requirements and specifications that would require updating an application or product
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in computer science or information science with a cumulative point of at least 8.0 (out of 10)
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and proficiency in English
- Abilities and instincts for addressing issues
- Comfortable in fast-paced and dynamic environments
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment
- Observant to details
- Takes responsibility and accountability
- Effectively collaborates to solve issues and continuously enhance service availability and reliability
- With a focus on automated testing and virtual environments (Docker/Kubernetes), proficient in Python scripting and automation tools like Ansible and Puppet.
- Possesses expertise in multiple platforms, cross-functional dependencies, and cloud and data centre management.
