Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Typically once every two months, assist with on-call duties.
- Make sure that our systems are fault-tolerant.
- To prevent being contacted repeat for the same issue, begin to address reason.
- Mentor more junior engineers as well as engineers from non-traditional backgrounds by providing each guidance and detailed yet considerate code evaluations.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience working on new or existing systems’ architecture (including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
- 2+ years of professional, non-internship software development experience.
- Programming experience in at least one programming language Experience in professional software.
- Engineering techniques and best practises for the entire software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- A history of working with other technical teams and users to communicate.
- Virtual and networking expertise are advantages.
