The Department of Economic Affairs is inviting applications for its 2024 – 2025 Internship Program scheduled for December 2024 to Feb 2025. This is for Students pursuing their master’s or Ph.D and their studies should focus on areas like :
- Macro Economic management
- Capital Markets
- Economic Reforms
- Exchange Management
- Foreign Investment in India
- Monetary Policy
- Infkation Management
- Small Savings
- Mondernization of Budget Documents
Eligibility :
Outstanding Candidates pursuing Post Graduation or PHD in Economics / LAw/ Finance / Management from Universities / Institutions preferably withing top 25 ranks. This program is not for the students pursuing Graduation.
Duration :
The duration of Internship is 2 months . Since the time duration is short interns would be required to carry out an intense studt to ensure desirable outputs .
Stipend :
Token renumeration @Rs 10,000/- per month per intern for PG student and Rs 20,000/- per month for a PHD students , payable on satisfactory completion.
Certificate of Completion :
Certificates shall be issues to the interns on satisfactory completion of the internship of not less than three months and on the submission of their report .
The last date for the submitting application is 5th November 2024.
