About the Program :
AISECT is implementing the project in 8 states namely, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha with facilitation from the State Skill Development Missions, using adequate human resources at each level. The project is aimed at partnering with the State Skill Development Missions.
Under this program,2,30,000 beneficiaries are to be mobilized; 2,00,000 candidates will be trained; and 1,80,000 candidates are to be certified all of which will be enabled through 70 hours of training program. Registered candidates will have to compulsorily complete the course module on Digital Productivity, and any other module from the remaining 3, post which, they will be awarded a completion certificate by Microsoft.
Objective of the Program :
The project aims to popularize the usage of the Microsoft Community Training portal, where the candidates will be enrolled in a self-paced mode of learning. Also, the project would conduct live classes through webinars hosted on Microsoft Teams.
10 percent of beneficiaries will be empowered through economic reforms in providing livelihood generation/self-employment opportunities. The program would also look at upskilling 1000 trainers/facilitators through its implementation. Along with these outcomes, the program will have predefined roles for providing mentorship/guidance to candidates, connecting beneficiaries to employment opportunities, etc.
Courses Included :
Women and youth from underserved communities, graduates, job seekers, and youth in remote areas will receive skills training for 4 different modules, including:
- Digital Productivity
- Effective Communication
- Job-Readiness Knowledge
- Entrepreneurial Capabilities
Eligibility Criteria
16-45 Age people are Eligible .It is open to all whether you are Women and youth from underserved communities, graduates, or job seekers.
