Requirements:
- Suitable work API testing expertise and experience with automation testing
- Proven proficiency with Rest Assured for API test automation
- Mastery of at least one of the API testing tools (Postman, Newman, or SoapUI) at the expert level
- Possess a solid understanding of Java, data structures, OOPS ideas, and its applications.
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTTP, REST, etc.
- Good familiarity with Linux good familiarity with SQL or any NoSql DBMS, such as MongoDB or AeroSpike
- Understanding of server-side bug analysis for RCA
- Knowledge of Client-Server Architecture Concepts
- A plus is having knowledge of performance/load testing with tools like Jmeter.
- Proactive, determined, astute, and assertive
- Experience with CI systems like Jenkins and version control tools like Git is necessary.
- DevOps exposure is a major plus.
Responsibilities:
- Create API automation frameworks on your own, conduct a feasibility study, write thorough test cases, and work on API automation testing using open source tools. You should also be able to create an automation framework that reduces the need for manual testing.
- Create, review, and update test cases for API automation that were made for product functionality
- Create and update API Testing regression test suites.
- Perform root cause analysis for systemic difficulties, effectively convey those concerns to the team, and contribute to their speedy resolution
- Make sure the item being tested satisfies both functional and commercial demands.
- Participate in and enhance the current quality procedure
- To ensure delivery of a functionally sound product, test the system’s functionality.
- Recognize the product’s technical architecture and how features are implemented.
