What is an Apprenticeship?
Apprenticeships contribute towards the development of digital skills by providing opportunities for work and study. They can serve as part of your journey to a meaningful career. During the program, apprentices get exposure to different areas and teams at Google, while receiving external training and developing their professional skills on the job.
Eligibility:
- Strong academic performance at any level of education or transferable experience.
- Ability to speak and write in English and/or the local language fluently and idiomatically, depending on the track.
- Have authorization to work in the country where you are applying.
Selection Process:
The selection process is different for each apprenticeship program but it generally includes a call with a recruiter to assess motivation and eligibility for the role, and a series of interviews (either virtual or in-person, known as an interview day or assessment center). The candidates will receive all the details for these sessions, including resources on how to prepare and what to expect.

Project Management Apprenticeship:
The Google Project Management Apprenticeship is a learning and development program for 24 months, Apprentices are expected to join in person at their assigned in-office and participate full-time (~40 hours, weekly) throughout the program. The program includes work experience with a Google team supported by in classroom learning to empower those looking to start a career in Project Management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Maximum of 1 year of relevant experience in a Project Management role post graduation.
- Experience with using Google Workspace (e.g., Gmail, Chrome, Docs, Sheets, etc.) or similar applications.
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
Responsibilities:
- Develop general project management skills across a variety of disciplines and skills needed for communication, change, and risk management.
- Learn a wide range of tools and techniques, including how to distill data for actionable takeaways and how to make data backed recommendations.
- Learn how to coordinate internal resources for execution of projects and share documentation/reports with project teams, as well as how to provide information and regular support to stakeholders.
- Develop team work and communication skills, build working relationships with peers, leaders, and colleagues.
- Develop an understanding of project scope (e.g., timeframes, financials, outcomes, etc.), how to ensure thorough project documentation, and create/review reports.
Digital Marketing Apprenticeship:
The Google Digital Marketing Apprenticeship is a learning and development program for 24 months, Apprentices are expected to join in person at their assigned in-office and participate full-time (~40 hours, weekly) throughout the program. The Google Data Analytics Apprenticeship is a learning and development program for 24 months, Apprentices are expected to join in person at their assigned in-office and participate full-time (~40 hours, weekly) throughout the program. The program includes work experience with a Google team supported by in classroom learning to empower those looking to start a career in Data Analytics.

- Maximum of 1 year of relevant experience in data analytics post graduation.
