About the program
Addressing environmental challenges is more pressing than ever as we look to the future. In this spirit, the All India Council for Technical Education has partnered with OPPO India for the Generation Green campaign, managed by 1M1B. This initiative aims to empower students to become responsible citizens, build a green mindset, and develop the skills necessary for success in a thriving green economy. OPPO India is offering internship and skilling opportunities through the AICTE Internship Portal. We aim to promote sustainability and safer ewaste disposal practices, raise awareness among students about the environmental impact of ewaste, promote green skills, and engage the wider college community in these vital efforts.
1. 5000 internships will be offered to students as part of this program. These internships provide a unique chance for students to gain hands-on experience in sustainability initiatives, deepen their understanding of environmental responsibility, and develop the green skills required to thrive in green jobs that are driving the green economy.
2. Orientation and Training: Selected students will undergo an orientation which will include training on green skills and sustainability and the tasks they need to complete as part of the internship. A specially curated toolkit with resources and materials will be provided to all the selected interns to assist them during the internship period.
3. During the internship, the interns will conduct outreach activities and will engage with the community and students in their region and empower them with green skills through awareness sessions, engaging challenges, and various activities aimed at fostering environmental stewardship.
4. Foster an eco-conscious mindset and sustainable practices among students.

Terms of Engagement
The terms of engagement for this internship are as follows:
1. Selection and Responsibilities: Interns will be selected based on evaluations from challenges. They will participate in outreach activities, conduct awareness sessions on environmental issues, and engage in green skill development tasks.
2. Orientation and Evaluation: Interns will undergo orientation and training, receive a toolkit, and be evaluated on their performance throughout the internship, with successful completion earning a certification.
