Internship at Member of Parliament’s Office | Get Complete Details – Eligibility, Stipend, How to Apply?
The office of the Hon’ble Member of Parliament Dr Fauzia Khan is looking to engage with five interns for the upcoming year 2023-24 for the Parliamentary Budget Session.
About the Member of Parliament Dr Fauzia Khan:
Fauzia Khan, is an Indian politician of the Nationalist Congress Party. She is a member of the Rajya Sabha the upper house of Indian Parliament from Maharashtra. She is the National president of Nationalist Mahila Congress (NCP’s Women’s wing), an Ex-Minister of State of Government of Maharashtra in India. She was two time M.L.C. i.e. member of Legislative Council the upper house of Maharashtra Legislature.
Eligibility:
- Pursuing/Completed-Bachelor’s in any field.
- Preference would be given to candidates having academic background in law, public policy, economics and humanities.
Stipend: This is an unpaid internship.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The selected interns are expected to facilitate legislative research (parliamentary interventions like questions, special mentions, zero hours, policy memos/briefs) while they work either physically or remotely.
- Candidates who can write research articles and deal with social media shall be given priority.
Benefits: Upon completion of the internship, interns will receive a certificate from the Hon’ble MP’s office.
