TATA Announced Free Scholarship For Students | Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship

About the Program:

The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme is an initiative of Tata Capital Limited to support the higher education of students belonging to economically weaker sections of the society. Under this scholarship programme, the students studying in Classes 6 to 12, diploma, polytechnic or undergraduate (general and professional) degree programmes will be provided with financial support to fulfil their academic dreams. 

The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme for Class 6 to 10 Students 2021-22

Deadline: 15-Oct-2021

Eligibility:

  • Open for Indian students who have lost their parent(s) or earning family member/s due to COVID-19.
  • The applicant must be studying in Class 6 to 10 at a recognized educational institution in India.
  • They must have scored at least 60% marks in the preceding class.
  • The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4,00,000 (4 lakh) from all sources.
  • Children of employees of Tata Capital & Buddy4Study are not eligible.

Benefits: Up to 80% of tuition fees paid by a student or up to INR 9,000.

The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme for Class 11 and 12 Students 2021-22

Deadline: 15-Oct-2021

Eligibility:

  • Open for Indian nationals only.
  • The applicant must be studying in Class 11 and 12 at a recognized educational institution in India.
  • They must have scored at least 60% marks in the preceding class.
  • The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4,00,000 (4 lakh) from all sources.
  • Children of employees of Tata Capital & Buddy4Study are not eligible.

Benefits: Up to 80% of tuition fees paid by a student or up to INR 12,000 (whichever is less).

The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme for Diploma/Polytechnic Students 2021-22

Deadline: 15-Oct-2021

Eligibility:

  • Open for Indian nationals only.
  • The applicant must be pursuing diploma/polytechnic courses at recognized educational institutes in India.
  • They must have scored at least 60% marks in the preceding class.
  • The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4,00,000 (4 lakh) from all sources.
  • Children of employees of Tata Capital & Buddy4Study are not eligible.

Benefits: Up to 80% of tuition fees paid by a student or up to INR 15,000 (whichever is less).

The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme for Undergraduate Degree Courses 2021-22

Deadline: 15-Oct-2021

Eligibility:

  • Open for Indian nationals only.
  • The applicant must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme like BCom, BSc, BBA, BA, etc. at a recognized institution in India.
  • They must have scored at least 60% marks in the preceding class.
  • The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4,00,000 (4 lakh) from all sources.
  • Children of employees of Tata Capital & Buddy4Study are not eligible.

Benefits: Up to 80% of tuition fees paid by a student or up to INR 20,000 (whichever is less).

The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme for Professional Degree Courses 2021-22

Deadline: 15-Oct-2021

Eligibility:

  • Open for Indian nationals only.
  • The applicant must be enrolled in a professional undergraduate degree programme like Engineering, Medical, Law, etc. at a recognized institute in India.
  • They must have scored at least 60% marks in the preceding class.
  • The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4,00,000 (4 lakh) from all sources.
  • Children of employees of Tata Capital & Buddy4Study are not eligible.

Benefits: Up to 80% of tuition fees paid by a student or up to INR 50,000.

Selection Process:

The selection of scholars for ‘The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme’ will be made based on their academic merit and financial background. It involves a multi-stage process as detailed below:

  • Initial shortlisting of applicants based on their academic merit and financial background.
  • Telephonic interview of shortlisted candidates.
  • Final interview by a selection committee for final selection.

NOTE: 50% of seats are reserved for girls. Also, weightage will be given to SC/ST/Disabled students.
