Candidate responsibilities include:
- keeping an eye on and protecting the log sources and security access
- When there are security breaches, disaster recovery planning should be implemented.
- Keeping an eye out for attacks, intrusions, and strange, unauthorised, or unlawful conduct
- identifying unauthorised or improper access to data or systems by conducting moderately complicated log reviews and forensic analysis
- executing security evaluations, risk analyses, and analyses of the underlying causes of security incidents
- handling situations that have progressed through the L1 team in 24-hour shifts
- use sophisticated analytics software to identify new threat trends and vulnerabilities
- all tactical security operations responsibilities related to this engagement are completed.
- analysing every attack and developing preventative attack analysis
- analysing occurrences in depth, producing reports and dashboards
