Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Make note among all infrastructure components (network, cloud, proxy, server, virtualization, endpoints, voice, Wi-Fi, videoconferencing, etc.)
- Submit tickets in the ticketing system, identify incidents in line to SOP, and quickly update the tickets.
- Make sure tickets raised per shift are handled as quickly as possible in line with the SLA commitment and, if necessary, in line with the established escalation matrix.
- Engage with ISPs and vendors to raise tickets, follow them through to closure in a timely manner, and resolve them quickly and efficiently to maintain system and link availability.
- When taking part in an incident resolution bridge call, the Genpact Infrastructure Team’s front-end member.
- Join Bridge discussions with customers to address all infrastructure issues together.
- Observe the escalation matrix and chart as specified.
- Help the project team with new customer commissions and change requests
Requirements:
- IT or engineering graduate.
- English language ability and positive people skills.
- Take initiative to learn, have a good attitude, and be open to trying new things.
- ready to operate in a 24-hour workplace across all technology fields.
- Quickly identify, analyze, and resolve problems with a focus on the needs of customers.
- Self-driven and a strong supporter of teamwork.
- Ability to function better in a stressful environment and be ready to meet difficulties and important situations. Excellent time management to handle several concurrent jobs with little guidance.
- Simple familiarity with network protocols and devices, such as (LAN, WAN, Routing, Switching, and Firewall).
