Candidate Responsibilities Include:
- The initial point of contact for any IT-related inquiries via email and ticketing systems. Additionally, take a few calls.
- Solve low-to-moderate technical issues while maintaining acceptable service levels, frequently with the aid of teammates.
- Mostly within functional teams to share updates on problem resolution.
- Be diligent in learning about and utilizing the technical and incident communication system.
- Monitor output from tools and monitoring systems, respond to it, and use the information for outages and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Understanding of ITIL procedures.
- Knowledge of NAS and SAN protocols (CIFS, NFS, iscsi, FC, Raids).
- Good familiarity with converged solutions like VMware vSAN & HC series and SAN technologies.
- Working knowledge of VMware vSphere and virtualization.
- Able to work shifts around the clock.
