About Event:
Council for Ayurveda Research (CAR) is organizing a FREE three-day Global Consortium and 1-day Industry Roundtable with invited Ayurveda and integrative experts/clinicians/academicians/researchers/ scientists from some of the leading Institutes/Universities in the US, India and other countries, who have the background, experience, inclination, and resources to initiate, facilitate and conduct cutting edge Ayurveda research. The events’ primary objective is to share, discuss, and develop a consensus on key areas of research in Ayurveda and identify the right strategies and methods for conducting that research. Here are some of the topics that will be covered – research and research methodology in Ayurveda, current gaps in research in Ayurveda, sustainability of herbs, quality assurance in Ayurvedic products, expanding the Ayurvedic formulary, Ayurceuticals, nutraceuticals, stringent guidelines and oversight on herb exports, future directions for research in Ayurveda, COVID lessons and successes, future pandemic preparation and more.
ABOUT Council of Ayurveda Research:
CAR is a pioneering initiative to promote and establish Ayurveda as an evidence-based health science globally. One of our core goals is to create a platform for the exchange, interaction and integration of information, competencies, expertise and resources between apex academic institutions, researchers, practitioners and students in US as well as in other countries to facilitate Ayurvedic research of the highest global standards. Our long-term goal is to become the nodal agency for Indo US collaborations and initiatives for Research in Ayurveda, with the ultimate aim of establishing Ayurveda globally as a credible healing science. Headquartered in USA, CAR is expanding its vision to other countries. The CAR team invites volunteers and collaborators alike – locally as well as globally, to join us in this mammoth much needed undertaking.
The Objective of the Event:
The primary objective of the event is to share, discuss and develop a consensus clarity on key areas of research in Ayurveda and identify the right strategies and methods for conducting that research.

Workflow of the Event:
Global Consortium on Collaborative Research: The presentations on days 1 and 2 will be open to the public.
Industry Round Table: On day 3, we will meet as a closed group to come up with clear actionable items with defined timelines. By the end of the 3rd day round table discussion, we will also like to create and announce the formation of a Global Consortium which will meet at regular intervals to take the initiative forward.
