CIET Launched Cyber Jaagrookta Diwas Series Theme for June, 2022: Financial Safety in CyberSpace in Collaboration with NCERT and Digital India | Free Online Training with Certificate

What is Cyber Jaagrookta Diwas?
The Ministry of Home Affairs is implementing a scheme called the”Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C)” to deal with cyber crimes in a coordinated and comprehensive manner. In order to create awareness amongst students of schools & colleges, teachers and parents it is proposed to observe “Cyber Jaagrookta (Awareness) Diwas” on the first wednesday of every month in all Schools/Colleges/Universities/Panchayati Raj Institutions(PRI) and Municipalities by involving District Magistrates Police Authorities, Officers of Education Department etc.

About the Theme:
For the month of June, 2022 CIET-NCERT has planned sessions on the theme “Financial Safety in CyberSpace’ in collaboration with Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA), CDAC, Hyderabad. A live interaction will be conducted on the “Cyber Jaagrookta (Awareness) Diwas” on 1 June, 2022 followed by 3 technical session on the given theme on the subsequent friday’s (i.e. 3/06/2022, 10/06/2022 & 17/06/2022). At the end of the session series, a comprehensive quiz will be launched based on all the sessions conducted in the month of June, 2022 on cyber safety and security.

Objective:

  • Understanding the term ‘Financial Safety’.
  • Understanding Financial Safety and Cyber Hygiene Practices for Students and Teachers.
  • Understanding Fintech Risks and ways to combat.
  • Understanding the impact of online payments for teachers, parents and students.
  • Learning ways to deal with cyber crimes related to digital financial frauds.

Who can Apply: Students, Teachers, Teacher Educators, Parents, Administrators, General Public, etc.

How to Apply?

Step 1: Register on the portal.

Step 2: Watch live training sessions: Participants have to attend Panel discussion, which will be live-streamed on NCERT Official YouTube channel.

Step 3: Participation in Post-Session Activity and Certification: Post session quiz will be conducted based on the 4 sessions listed in the programme schedule, the link of the quiz will be released at the end the 4th session on 17 June, 2022. To get a certificate, participate and score 50% & above. Participants are allowed to take 3 attempts at the quiz.
