Internship in Ministry of Communications (Department of Telecommunications)
National Centre for Communications Security, Department of Telecommunications, Bengaluru intends to engage interns, under its ‘NCCS Internship Scheme’ for which applications are invited from eligible Candidates and Students from the recognized universities/colleges in India or abroad, as below. The internship mode is offline in Bengaluru.

ELIGILIBLTY :
Indian students from recognized universities in India or abroad, who have completed
Bachelor Degree course in Electronics/ Communications/ Telecommunication/ Radio/
Information Technology/ Computers/ Electrical (with majors in
electronics/communications/computers) Engineering or related discipline course with
minimum 60% marks.
Category -1 :
- Minimum duration – 60 days
- Token Remuneration @Rs.7,500/- per month on prorata basis. *

Category -2 :
- Minimum Duration – 6 months; Maximum Duration* – 12 months
- Token Remuneration @ Rs.15,000/- month on Pro – rata basis.*

CERTIFICATE OF INTERNSHIP:
On successful completion of Internship and submission of Report duly signed and
accepted by the competent authority as stated above in Para 9.2, a Certificate shall be
issued by the concerned Division in the format as available .
Last date of receipt of applications for Joining during Q4-2024 (Oct-24 to Dec-24) is 31-
Oct-2024.
HOW TO APPLY:
Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications along with their CVs, areas of work interest in the prescribed application form (Attached as at Annexure-II) to designated office of NCCS, in response to advertisement/ notification from NCCS. Student Applicants need to be recommended by the Institution in which the applicant is currently studying

FOSSEE INTERNSHIP :
The FOSSEE project invites applications for the Winter Internship 2024. The students get an opportunity to work with the FOSSEE team for around 1.5 to 2 months. This is a remote (tentative) internship with support and mentoring by the FOSSEE team. To get shortlisted for the internship, select a project and choose a screening task from the table given below. Complete at least one of the screening tasks and submit. The selection will be purely based on the evaluation criteria of each screening task.
How to Participate?
Students desirous of getting selected for this internship have to learn a Free/Libre and Open Source Software (FLOSS) and complete at least one screening task. These tasks can involve programming/ scientific computing/ collecting data that will be of use to the community. These screening tasks are not very complicated and can be done in a week’s time.

DCPCR (Delhi Commission For Protection of Child Rights) :
Delhi Commission For Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) strongly believes in harnessing the power of our youngsters and takes measures to engage with them by means of their involvement in public service. We believe this is the only way a nation can develop rooted in ideals of justice, and basic dignity for all.
Therefore, the Commission offers internships across divisions and themes to youngsters. Interns typically support the Commission in background research, field visits, data analytics, preparing policy briefs/summaries, drafting letters/notices/summons, preparing minutes of the meetings, and documentation-related support including social media amongst others. Full-time interns are provided with a modest stipend in addition to official travel-related reimbursements.

NCDC Internship Programme :
Internship cycle: Initially NCDC will offer two internship cycles in a year. The first cycle will be open from January for which the application will be accepted in the month of Oct-Dec of preceding year. The second cycle will be from 1 June for which applications will be received from April to May of the year. The application will be closed 15 days prior to the start of the internship.
Fees: NCDC will offer the internship free of cost. However, no stipend will be paid to the prospective interns. Based on availability and individual assessment, hostel facilities may be made available as per norms. No long leaves will be admissible during internship. However emergency leaves may be sanctioned on recommendation of departmental head.
Certificate: On successful completion of the internship period and based on recommendation of departmental head, a certificate will be awarded.
Application Process: Interested applicants who fit the eligibility criterion can apply through an online form which will be available on NCDC website and payment of a nominal application fee of Rs 500/ through demand draft in the name of Director NCDC. Additional supporting documents such as a support letter from the University (if pursuing a course) and at least three letters of recommendations supporting relevant experience will be expected from the candidate. NCDC will communicate acceptance after the process of screening and approvals from competent authority. If a large number of applicants apply, NCDC may introduce a process of screening and selection.
